Strategic Advisement
As Senior Advisor for Evergreen, Cam Collyer helped to launch the Loop Trail concept; negotiate partnerships with the City of Toronto and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority; and provide strategic guidance and recommendations on the development of the Loop Trail as part of the City of Toronto's Ravine Strategy.
The Loop Trail plan aims to connect previously fragmented trails in the Lake Ontario Waterfront, Don and Humber Valleys and Finch Hydro Corridor to form a continuous, 72 km multi-use trail.
The vision for the Loop Trail was to connect Torontonians to the natural jewels of the City while connecting a large number of neighbourhoods through an active transportation network.
